Use this section to understand your matching solicitations via your saved searches.
The grid provides open DoD solicitations based on your saved searches (see Rules)
- Displayed by date issued in descending order. Click on any column header to sort ascending or descending
- Displays top level information on open solicitations including Solicitation Number, Description, Qty, Est Value, Status (DLA RFQs and Navy) and the name of the saved search by which this was delivered to you.
- Date and time of last update.
- Ability to filter through the results. Go to Filtering. Watch Now
Filter through your results for access to solicitations you want to review now.
Filtering can be accomplished in 2 ways.- Navigate to the Attribute drop down menu and select the item by which you wish to filter. Attributes can be compounded to further narrow your results set.
- Navigate to the Filter By drop menu item below the blue buttons, click Fast Filters and create a personalized fast filter. You might want to do this if you find that you are always manually applying the same filter and compounding it. Using this method, you can save some time by having the system remember your preferences. Watch Now
Exporting bid data, simply.
Exporting data allows you to take a snapshot of the items on your screen. You can export the entire data set or you can use the filters to narrow the data set and export thereafter. Once you click export, navigate to the top horizontal navigation menu, click Export and select the item corresponding to the export type you just selected. The files are displayed and can be accessed for download. Watch Now
Batch Search Manager, customized.
One of the features of your Batch Search Manager allows you to quickly send you Contract Bidding data to batch. This allows you to Batch/ Export your data with full Parts Availability, Full FLIS, Full Solicitation information. Just as with Export, you can Send to Batch your entire results set or use the filters to narrow the displayed results and then use the Send to Batch. Once you use this feature, navigate to the top horizontal navigation menu, click Batch and select the file you just created. Watch Now
Reviewing the results from your saved searches.
To access the details of each result under Manage Matching Solicitations, whether it is the entire results set or if filters have been applied, click on the Solicitation Number in the grid. What you will see starting from the top of the page are as follows:
- The name of the saved search by which this solicitation was found and the date/time if was delivered to you
- Blue buttons and one gray button on the top right hand side of the page. Add Favorites (your favorites), Send To (send item to another account user), Delete (deletes for all users), Next, Return to Results, All Info (customize bid report), Tech Doc (where available). The last item is a drop down menu that allows you to view the original document, print the page and print the page to PDF
- Solicitation Highlights (position fixed)
- Solicitation Details with Full FLIS (customizable, see Bid Report All Info)
- Full FLIS information. This can be customized to your preference by clicking All Info (blue button) Watch Now
Customizing your bid report.
If you want to change the order of the FLIS segments displayed, click the All Info (blue button) from the bid report:
- First section allows you to add modules, simply select and add
- Second section allows you to reorder. Drag into position and that’s it. Click return to solicitation when finished. Watch Now
Use this section to create your saved searches.
From the top horizontal navigation menu, click Tools then Contract Bidding – Rule Summary
- Displayed are your current rules (if they exist).
- To add a rule or saved search, click Create Matching Rule
- From Step 1: Add matching Rule, select the item you wish to add such as Keyword::Equals::Bracket, click check now, click Add Matching Requirement. If you wish to compound the criteria, such as Small Business, repeat by selecting Small Business::Equals::Yes, click Add Matching Requirement.
- Once finished with a particular rule, From Step 2: Save your matching rule, assign the rule a name, in this case Bracket_SB_Yes then click finish and save.
- You’ll find that the rules summary page loaded. To add additional rules, repeat these steps. Watch Now
Use this section to create personalized email notifications about your saved searches.
From the top horizontal navigation menu, click Tools then Contract Bidding – Notify On Match
- Displayed are your current email notification rules (if they exist).
- To add an email notification for an account user, select the name/email address, select whether the notification will be by Any, FSC, SoS or particular rule then click add. That’s it.
- To remove an existing notification preference, delete by clicking the red ‘X' Watch Now
Select Report Type National Stock Number for product based research.
Use this report type for product based research
- From the second drop menu, select NSN, NIIN, Description, Unit Price, FSC, CAGE, Company Name, Part Number, Location, Technical Characteristics, NAVY RIC or Schedule B.
- Displays top level information on National Stock Numbers including NSN, Description, OEMs (number of approved sources), Part No (number of approved part numbers), Unit Price, Most Recent Award, MR Award Qty and Award Unit Price.
- Click on the particular NSN you want to review. Watch Now
Filter through your results for access to NSNs you want to review now.
Filtering can be accomplished by compounding the filters. If you started your search with Description::Equals::Bracket, you can further narrow down your results by adding an addition filter such as Unit Price::Greater Than::$100 Watch Now
Reviewing NSNs from the results
To access the details of each result click on the National Stock Number in the grid. What you will see starting from the top of the page are as follows:
- Blue buttons and one gray button on the top right hand side of the page. Back, Next Listing, Return to Search and All Info (customize NSN report). The last item is a drop down menu that allows you to print the page or print the page to PDF

Select Report Type CAGE Code Holder for company based research.
Use this report type for company based research
- From the second drop menu, select Approved OEM, CAGE, Company Name, Contract Sales YTD, FSC, CAGE, Company Name, Part Number, Location, Technical Characteristics, FSC, Location or Part Number.
- Displays top level information on CAGE Codes including CAGE, Company Name, Approved OEM (count of NSNs where corresponding CAGE Code is an approved source) and Sales YTD.
- Click on the particular CAGE Code you want to review. Watch Now
Filter through your results for access to CAGE Codes you want to review now.
Filtering can be accomplished by compounding the filters. If you started your search with FSC::Equals::1005 to locate all companies that are related to FSC 1005, you can further narrow down your results by adding an addition filter such as Contract Sales YTD::Greater Than::$100,000 Watch Now
Reviewing CAGE Codes from the results
To access the details of each result click on the CAGE Code in the grid. What you will see starting from the top of the page are as follows:
- H4/H8 information about the CAGE Code
- Sub reports you can run on the company being reviewed Watch Now
Batch Search Manager
Access by clicking on Batch from the top horizontal navigation menu
- Select the batch input file type: 1) Part Number 2) NSN File or 3) CAGE File
- Click browse and attach your input file which must be *.TXT or *.CSV (header not required)
- Assign a name to your output file.
- Select the tabs for the output file.
- Click upload.
- In a few minutes, the new file will be visible and down-loadable Watch Now
